Middays with Laura! Z107.5
Hello! I’m so happy I can now deliver the best beats to your ears during the Midday Show on Z107.5! You may remember me from the weekend and night shows on Z107.5, but from now on I’m spinning the midday show (10AM-3PM), and could not be happier. Think of your time spent listening as more of an escape from your day-to-day running’s, a well-deserved break, and a party! Since we will be spending some time together, it’s only fair that I give you a little information backing my on-air voice.
I am originally from Maryland, but after six and a half years in Wilmington, the south has grown near and dear to my heart. In the spring of 2010, I graduated from none other then UNCW (Go Seahawks!) with a bachelors of Arts in Communication Studies as well as a minor in Journalism – concentrating in broadcasting. Prior to graduating, my interests targeted radio DJing as something I knew I wanted to do. What can I say; I genuinely enjoy the concept of being able to share the love of music and entertainment news with as many as possible. I knew radio was going to be an excellent fit for my interests and abilities, and thus far, my time at Z has proven just that.
So, let’s dive into a few points behind my voice you may not know:
- I am an aquatic person. I swam on the Women’s Varsity Swim team at UNCW for 4 years. My home away from home has always been the pool and continues to be a major love in my life, even after completing my 4 years.

I’m Italian. In terms of the Midday Show, this means that most of the time when I am on-air, I’m actually speaking just as much with my hands as my actual voice. I didn’t choose this rather expressive life; this expressive life chose me ;)

I focus my energy outside of the radio station into being as active as possible. Now that the swimming days have concluded, I have taken up triathlons! The physical demand is great, and the mental endurance behind it is even better. When I’m not on-air you can catch me around town packing in the miles either running, swimming or biking.

I’m a dog fanatic. I have an adorable dog named “Chewy.” There’s a reason dogs have been titled “(Wo)man’s Best Friend,” because he truly is my furry partner in crime.
